New lock nut for all Salisbury diff pinions. We recommend a dab of Loctite on these nuts.
Use great care tensioning this nut - you are also adjusting the preload on the diff pinion bearings at the same time. Refer to the workshop manual for the correct procedure. It is very easy to get this wrong with buggered bearings being the result.
