The latest generation of rear main oil seal kit for the 4BD1. Contains one hardened wear ring (fitted to the crankshaft seal journal) and one Viton oil seal to suit. This wear ring is about 2.2mm thick. The oil seal in this kit is the only one compatible with this wear ring and must be used as a pair. This kit replaces all previous versions.
The wear ring is installed to a depth of 9-10mm and is fitted dry. There is an internal leading edge to assist fitting.
