The convex thrust washers for the centre diff in the LT95 and LT230 transfer cases. 4x required. It is not uncommon for these to wear away to nothing in the LT230. If they are not there when you strip it DO NOT assume they were never there. If your side gears have damaged the diff case we can fix that. You will need to send the complete centre diff to us.
With new shims fitted and the diff assembled correctly slide one of the output shafts into place. When you rotate the side gear it should feel a bit notchy. If it is smooth you do not have enough pre-load on the side gears and will need fit thicker shims.
