Some of the Perentie sedimentors can be converted to take a CAV filter, but some cannot.  Converting them is a great thing to do - CAV filters are readily available and will act as a primary filter in your fuel system.  This will prevent your banjo bolt screen blocking up, and the engine mounted filter becomes a secondary filter. 

Here is a sedimentor already converted with a Donaldson filter and is a direct fit replacement for your existing sedimentor.  You don't need to work out if yours can be converted or not.

Will also work on 300Tdi Discovery 1.  Can be fitted to 300Tdi Defenders, but will need to be spaced out.
