The oft-abused propshaft nut. These days usually seen as a rounded off and burred lump of steel hidden by the uni-joint. These nuts used to be a 3/8"UNF nyloc nut, but years of abuse with metric spanners tends to round them off (a 15mm spanner will not work). In our workshop we replace these nuts almost every time. And we use the proper 9/16"AF tool to undo them.
Suits front and rear propshafts for all Range Rover Classic and P38A; Discovery 1 and 2; all Defenders and 110, all Perentie (except the very rear of the 6x6) and some Series vehicles.
